You can also pull the red release cord and lift the door manually to feel whether it moves evenly or fights you on one side. What you should not do is loosen the set screws on a torsion drum or try to re-spool a slipped cable. That drum is under the tension of a wound spring holding 200 pounds of door. One wrong move and that spring spins loose. People lose fingers and worse. A door is 200 pounds riding on two springs. Respect it.
